Troubleshooting

The most common problems, their causes, and fixes.

"This business isn't visible on the Google account" (NOT_FOUND)

Cause: the Google connection was refreshed with a different account, your management access was removed, or the business was merged/deleted on Google's side. Fix: "Try again" won't fix it; from Account & security, reconnect Google with the correct account or re-add the business.

Sync error / stale data

Cause: a module's Google sync got stuck. Fix: the "Try again" button on the Reviews screen queues a full sync (~30-60s); the error text in the banner shows which module got stuck. If there's no connection, "Connect Google" first.

My uploaded photo doesn't show on Google

Cause 1: the profile is unverified — Google won't publish media on an unverified profile. Cause 2: format/size. Fix: verify the profile on Google; upload the photo at the recommended size (10 KB–5 MB, JPG/PNG). The "needs attention" strip on the Photos screen shows the real reason. See Photos.

"Saved, but couldn't be sent to Google"

Cause: the profile/service save was written to the DB but the Google push failed (no automatic retry). Fix: save the same section again — it re-sends.

A post didn't publish / was rejected

Cause: Google rules — the text exceeds 1500 characters, contains a phone number, or the video exceeds 30s/720p. Fix: shorten the text, remove the phone number, trim the video. See Google Posts.

"Daily limit reached" (AI 503)

Cause: that business's daily AI quota is used up (the quota is per business). Fix: it resets the next day, or an admin can raise the limit. See AI limits.

Can't run a grid scan (429)

Cause: the daily grid scan quota is used up, or the per-minute rate limit. Fix: wait until the next day or have an admin raise the limit.

Instagram content doesn't show

Cause: the connected Instagram account doesn't match the handle on Profile → Social (USERNAME_MISMATCH), or Meta deauthorized. Fix: correct the handle on the profile and reconnect. See Instagram.
