A GBP-synced microsite: templates, sections, slug, schema, and QR.
The Website Builder generates a one-page microsite for your business, synced with your Google Business Profile data. It gives businesses without a website an instant, mobile, crawlable web presence. It's managed from the Website screen.
This feature depends on the website_builder feature flag and requires locations.manage permission. A published site is served at localghost.co/sites/<slug>.
Editor tabs
- Design — template and language choice. The language only translates template chrome ("Services", "Get directions"); the business's own content stays as Google provides it.
- Sections — toggle + reorder: hero, about, services, menu, reviews, contact, hours, map, CTA, WhatsApp. The hero title/subtitle and "about" text are editable (about auto-fills from your GBP description).
- Embed — a copyable Google Maps iframe, a QR code, a WhatsApp link, and a copyable LocalBusiness JSON-LD schema (including address, geo, and the real review aggregate).
- Settings — custom slug (Turkish-aware), publish/unpublish.
Publishing
Set a slug and click Publish to go live. Unpublish doesn't delete content — it only sets isPublished:false and the public page returns 404. Saving refreshes the page cache (ISR).
Why it affects ranking
The site gives a business — especially one with no web presence at all — an instant mobile, crawlable page + consistent NAP + geo + LocalBusiness schema + Maps embed + GBP-synced content. This reinforces NAP consistency, supports the profile, and enables rich-result eligibility.
