AI in Localghost isn't just one chat box; there are several AI surfaces embedded across the product. Their shared rule: AI proposes, you approve — no AI output is automatically sent to Google.
AI surfaces
- Chat assistant (Ghost AI) — the general assistant that talks with your business data and gives analysis/recommendations.
- Content generation — drafts for specific fields:
- Review reply (on the Reviews screen with tone selection; see AI reply suggestions)
- Post/offer copy (on the Posts/Offers screen, you give a topic)
- Profile/service description (on the Profile screen, with keywords)
- Insight analysis — interprets your numeric data: reviews (rating/reply gaps), performance (impressions/interactions), competitors (you vs the competitor average) → 2-3 recommendations.
Generation and insight outputs are drafts — not written to the database/Google; you review and send. Text is stripped of markdown for Google's plain-text fields.
Infrastructure
The AI supports multiple providers (Gemini, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Grok, Kimi); a priority provider is chosen per use case, and if one fails a circuit breaker kicks in and switches to an alternative, with API keys round-robin balanced. This is transparent to you — the assistant only appears as "Localghost AI".
Security
All AI inputs are hardened against prompt injection (hidden instructions inside reviews/data are ignored) and numeric inputs are type-coerced to defeat injection.
