Task system

The task system turns profile signals and audit findings into a prioritized, self-maintaining to-do list. It's tracked on the Tasks screen.

How tasks are generated

Generation is fully rule-based — it uses no AI (the ai_ prefix on template ids is historical). The engine reads the business's reviews, posts, photos, keywords, competitors, performance, directories, and grid scans, and emits tasks by thresholds: unreplied reviews, no/stale posts, no offer, missing photos, weak description, category gaps, no grid scan yet, and so on. The profile foundation must be filled first — quality/evergreen tasks are suppressed until it is.

Auto-completion

An event (post published, photo uploaded, profile updated, review replied…) does NOT close tasks blindly. Each template has one of three rules:

• State: the real DB state is re-verified (preferred). "Add an exterior photo" closes only if an exterior photo actually exists; uploading an interior one doesn't close it.
• Event: rhythm tasks close on the event ("post this week").
• Event-exclusive: for content tasks whose topic can't be verified, at most one task closes per event (a single post doesn't close 18 topic tasks).

Tasks with an auto-complete condition hide the manual checkbox (the system decides); "persistent" tasks reporting a real gap have no due date, stay open while the gap persists, and close when resolved (if the gap returns, the task returns too).

The screen

• A growth journey widget — shows the current stage (nothing is locked, it's a focus indicator).
• Three tabs: Active (Priority Actions + backlog), Completed by you, System-closed.
• Clicking a card opens a short "how-to" explanation.

Why it matters

Tasks prioritize SEO Audit findings and GBP signals; thanks to auto-completion the list reflects reality (closing a real gap closes the matching task). Clearing the weighted gaps is working directly on ranking.
